Nurse Technician (Nurse Tech) - Rehabilitation
About The Position
MercyOne Clive Rehabilitation Hospital is a 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital providing individualized care for people recovering from severe injury or illness, including stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The hospital aims to improve patients’ health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. The Nurse Technician provides essential support to nursing staff by performing basic patient care duties, assisting patients with activities of daily living, and helping maintain a safe and clean environment. More complex duties are performed under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. The role is full-time, scheduled for three 12-hour day shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with rotating weekends. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is available to well-qualified applicants. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR/BCLS certification.
- Completion of a 75-hour CNA course.
Nice To Haves
- At least six months of experience in an acute or long-term care facility is preferred.
