About The Position

Lifepoint Rehabilitation, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician to support patients on their rehabilitation journeys and assist the therapy department. The role involves helping therapists with treatments, preparing patients for sessions, safely transporting and repositioning patients, maintaining therapy equipment and treatment areas, managing supplies, and completing basic clerical tasks. The technician helps maintain a safe, confidential, and patient-focused environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• CPR/BCLS certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and move patients and participate in physical activity.
• Basic computer and phone skills.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in an acute or long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists with patient treatments and prepare patients for sessions.
• Transport, lift, and reposition patients safely throughout the hospital.
• Set up, clean, and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas.
• Manage supply inventory and perform basic clerical tasks.
• Support a safe, confidential, and patient-focused environment.
