About The Position

Lifepoint Rehabilitation is hiring a Rehabilitation Technician at Kindred Hospital Bay Area - St. Petersburg. The role supports professional staff in providing prescribed patient treatments and helps with patient preparation and safe movement throughout the hospital. The technician also maintains treatment areas and equipment, manages therapy supplies, and performs routine clerical tasks for the Therapy Department. The schedule is full-time, with some weekends required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification required.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Appropriate telephone communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• 6–12 months of relevant experience in a rehabilitation setting is strongly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Transport, lift, transfer, move, and reposition patients in patient rooms, the Therapy Gym, and other common areas of the hospital.
• Prepare patients for prescribed treatment and assist professional staff with patient treatment.
• Prepare, clean, and maintain treatment areas and equipment.
• Procure and maintain an accurate inventory of therapy supplies.
• Perform routine clerical tasks for the Therapy Department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
