About The Position

Lifepoint Rehabilitation, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician at Kindred Hospital South FL- Hollywood. The role supports patient treatment and the Therapy Department by preparing patients and treatment areas, assisting professional staff, maintaining equipment and supplies, and performing routine clerical tasks. The position is full-time, with some weekends required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
CPR certification.
Basic computer knowledge.
Appropriate telephone communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Six to twelve months of relevant experience, strongly recommended, in a rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities

Transport, lift, transfer, move, and reposition patients in patient rooms, the Therapy Gym, and other common areas of the hospital.
Prepare patients for prescribed treatment and assist professional staff with patient treatment.
Prepare, clean, and maintain treatment areas and equipment.
Procure and maintain an accurate inventory of therapy supplies.
Perform routine clerical tasks for the Therapy Department.
Perform other duties as assigned.
