About The Position

The Rehabilitation Technician supports inpatient rehabilitation services at Skokie Hospital in Skokie, Illinois. The role assists Physical and Occupational Therapists with patient care at the bedside and/or in the open gym, helps manage therapy scheduling, and maintains therapy supplies and equipment. This is a full-time position scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with no weekends. The schedule falls between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.; Monday is 11:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m., and Tuesday through Friday are 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Holiday coverage is required on a rotating basis for two summer and two winter holidays per year. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience or observation/volunteer hours in a rehabilitation or clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist Physical and Occupational Therapists with patient care activities at the bedside and/or in the open gym.
Sort, store, and maintain inventory of linens, supplies, equipment, and forms.
Assist with therapy scheduling.
Clean and disinfect equipment.
