About The Position

Baptist Health Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is a new 62-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility. The Rehabilitation Technician supports the Therapy Department by preparing and maintaining treatment areas and equipment, helping position and transport patients, assisting patients and therapists, and managing therapy supplies and inventory. The role also includes routine clerical tasks and other duties as assigned.

The position is full-time. Applicants should have a high school diploma, CPR/BCLS certification, and strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. At least six months of experience in an acute or long-term care facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for prescribed treatment and assist professional staff with patient treatment.
• Transport, lift, transfer, move, and reposition patients in patient rooms, the Therapy Gym, and other common hospital areas.
• Prepare, clean, and maintain treatment areas and equipment.
• Procure therapy supplies and maintain an accurate inventory.
• Perform routine clerical tasks for the Therapy Department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
