New Grad Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (3-day work week)
About The Position
TotalCare Walk-In Clinic is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner for its Corona clinic. The multi-specialty medical group provides internal medicine, family medicine, cardiology, urgent care, and medical aesthetics services, with 25 providers across eight locations. The role offers a supportive setting for new graduates and experienced providers to serve underserved communities in Southern California and build a foundation in primary and urgent care while gaining hands-on experience with common procedures. The position includes structured onboarding, a dedicated training period, and close physician mentorship. The team uses a team-based coverage model, so there are no solo-provider shifts. The Medical Director hosts weekly provider meetings for feedback, case discussion, and updates on clinical research. Six physicians with more than 30 years of experience each rotate across the offices and provide in-person or phone support during shifts. There are no call duties or clinical inbox responsibilities; a separate support team manages administrative tasks. The schedule consists of three weekday shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and one weekend shift every other week from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing extended weekends on alternating weeks. The role offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus upon hire, additional performance-based incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package including full medical coverage and DEA/CME reimbursement. Spanish or Mandarin fluency is strongly preferred because of the patient population.
