About The Position
Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is hiring experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for full-time opportunities in St. Louis, Missouri, and surrounding areas. The role provides high-quality care in modern urgent care centers equipped with imaging, labs, and an advanced EMR integrated with Mercy (Epic). Providers work with collaborative, supportive teams that include radiology technologists and highly trained medical assistants. Compensation includes competitive salary or hourly rates, a daily volume bonus based on patient-visit metrics met per shift, and a quarterly bonus of up to 5% of clinical base salary based on customer satisfaction scores and quality measures. The position offers a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 for full-time Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants. Mercy-GoHealth is part of a fast-growing urgent care network and a not-for-profit system that qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
Requirements
- At least 18 months of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in urgent care or emergency medicine.
- Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations.
- Comfort with minor procedures, preliminary EKG reads, and X-ray reads.
- For Physician Assistants: master's degree and NCCPA certification.
- For Nurse Practitioners: master's degree and appropriate AANC or AANP certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality urgent care to pediatric and adult patients.
- Perform minor procedures such as sutures, casts, and splints.
- Provide preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays.
