About The Position
Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for full-time opportunities in St. Louis, Missouri, and surrounding areas. The role provides high-quality care in state-of-the-art urgent care centers equipped with imaging, labs, and an advanced EMR integrated with Mercy (Epic). Providers work with collaborative, supportive teams that include radiologic technologists and highly trained medical assistants. Compensation includes competitive salary and hourly rates, a monthly daily-volume bonus based on patient visits per shift, and a quarterly bonus of up to 5% of clinical base salary based on customer satisfaction scores and quality measures. Mercy is a not-for-profit system that qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
Requirements
- At least 18 months of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in urgent care or emergency medicine.
- Experience treating both pediatric and adult patients.
- Comfort with minor procedures, preliminary EKG reads, and X-rays.
- For Nurse Practitioners: a master’s degree and appropriate certification (AANC or AANP).
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality urgent care to pediatric and adult patients.
- Perform minor procedures such as sutures, casts, and splints.
- Provide preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays.
