About The Position

Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is hiring experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for its Joplin/Springfield, Missouri area centers. The role involves delivering high-quality care to pediatric and adult patients in a collaborative urgent care environment. Centers are equipped with imaging, labs, and an advanced EMR integrated with Mercy (Epic), with support from staff including Radiologic Technologists and Medical Assistants.

The position offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus, competitive salary and hourly rates, a daily volume bonus based on patient visits per shift, and a quarterly bonus of up to 5% of clinical base salary based on customer satisfaction and quality measures. Mercy-GoHealth is part of a fast-growing urgent care network and partners with Mercy, a not-for-profit health system. Relocation assistance may be available, and professional liability coverage is provided.

Requirements

• At least 18 months of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in urgent care or emergency medicine.
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations.
• Comfort with minor procedures, including sutures, casts, and splints.
• Ability to provide preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays.
• Physician Assistants must have a master's degree and NCCPA certification.
• Nurse Practitioners must have a master's degree and appropriate AANC or AANP certification.

Responsibilities
