Health Risk Assessments - Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA)
About The Position
Conduct in-home Health Risk Assessments (HRAs) for Medicare Advantage members as an independent 1099 contractor. The role offers a flexible PRN schedule, with a minimum availability of eight full 7.5-hour days per month. Clinicians work autonomously and provide assessments and preventive care education without ongoing treatment responsibilities, prescribing, on-call shifts, or follow-ups. Travel locally to patients in the clinician’s county and nearby areas, generally within roughly 60 minutes of home. Documentation is completed using a company-provided iPad and proprietary EMR system. Malpractice insurance and collaborating physicians are included. Onboarding may take 3 to 4 weeks. The posting notes that contractors may deduct $0.725 per mile in 2026 and recommends consulting a tax advisor.
Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- Availability for at least eight full 7.5-hour days per month.
- Willingness to travel within roughly 60 minutes of home.
- Pediatrics, PMHNP, and Women’s Health specialties are excluded.
Responsibilities
