Health Risk Assessments - Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA)
About The Position
This flexible PRN opportunity is for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants conducting in-home Health Risk Assessments (HRAs) for Medicare Advantage members. The role offers autonomous work and an opportunity to supplement income without ongoing treatment responsibilities. There is no prescribing, on-call work, or follow-up care. Clinicians use a company-provided iPad and a proprietary EMR system for documentation. Malpractice insurance and collaborating physicians are included. The role is a 1099 contractor position, with local travel to patients in the clinician’s county and nearby areas. Onboarding may take 3 to 4 weeks.
Requirements
- Hold an active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- Be available for a minimum of eight full 7.5-hour days per month.
- Be willing to travel within roughly 60 minutes of home.
Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive in-home Health Risk Assessments for Medicare Advantage patients.
- Review each patient’s medical history, current medications, lifestyle, and key social factors.
- Conduct basic physical and mental health evaluations.
- Provide preventive care education without ongoing management.
- Travel locally to patients in the clinician’s county and nearby areas.
