About The Position
This flexible PRN opportunity is for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to conduct in-home Health Risk Assessments (HRAs) for Medicare Advantage members. The role offers schedule flexibility, autonomous work, and an opportunity to supplement income without ongoing treatment responsibilities. There is no prescribing, on-call work, or patient follow-up. The company provides an iPad for documentation, malpractice insurance, and collaborating physicians. Onboarding may take three to four weeks.
Requirements
- Hold an active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- Be available for at least eight full 7.5-hour days per month.
- Be willing to travel within roughly 60 minutes of home.
- Pediatrics, PMHNP, and Women’s Health specialties are excluded.
Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive in-home Health Risk Assessments for Medicare Advantage patients.
- Review patients’ medical history, current medications, lifestyle, and relevant social factors.
- Conduct basic physical and mental health evaluations.
- Share preventive care education without providing ongoing management.
- Travel locally to patients in the clinician’s county and nearby areas.
