Health Risk Assessments - Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA)
About The Position
Flexible PRN opportunity for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants conducting in-home Health Risk Assessments (HRAs) for Medicare Advantage members. The role offers an autonomous way to supplement income and contribute to patient care without ongoing treatment responsibilities. There are no prescribing duties, on-call shifts, or follow-ups. Documentation is completed using a company-provided iPad and a proprietary EMR system. Malpractice insurance and collaborating physicians are included. Clinicians travel locally to patients in their county and nearby areas. Onboarding may take 3 to 4 weeks. The role is described as a 1099 contractor position; the posting notes that contractors may deduct $0.725 per mile in 2026 and advises consulting a tax advisor.
Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- Pediatrics, Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), and Women's Health specialties are excluded.
- Availability for a minimum of eight full 7.5-hour days per month.
- Willingness to travel within roughly 60 minutes of home.
Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive in-home Health Risk Assessments for Medicare Advantage patients.
- Review each patient's medical history, current medications, lifestyle, and key social factors.
- Conduct basic physical and mental health evaluations.
- Share preventive care education; ongoing management is not required.
- Travel locally to patients in the clinician's county and nearby areas.
