Requirements

  • Member of the Chambre des notaires du Québec
  • Law degree and specialized training in notarial law
  • Minimum of 3 to 7 years of notarial experience in real estate law
  • Excellent command of spoken and written French and English
  • Organizational skills, time management, and prioritization
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively

Responsibilities

  • Drafting of commercial real estate sale agreements
  • Advising and informing clients on the legal aspects of real estate transactions
  • Handling real estate guarantees
  • Conducting property title searches
  • Drafting asset sale agreements
  • Drafting agreements and special contracts related to real estate transactions
  • Drafting and reviewing documentation related to the acquisition or sale of properties and financing with real estate guarantees
