Requirements
- Member of the Chambre des notaires du Québec
- Law degree and specialized training in notarial law
- Minimum of 3 to 7 years of notarial experience in real estate law
- Excellent command of spoken and written French and English
- Organizational skills, time management, and prioritization
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
Responsibilities
- Drafting of commercial real estate sale agreements
- Advising and informing clients on the legal aspects of real estate transactions
- Handling real estate guarantees
- Conducting property title searches
- Drafting asset sale agreements
- Drafting agreements and special contracts related to real estate transactions
- Drafting and reviewing documentation related to the acquisition or sale of properties and financing with real estate guarantees
