About The Position

BCF is seeking a Notary with 2 to 5 years of experience in real estate law to join their dynamic team. The position involves managing complex real estate transaction files and advising clients on legal aspects. The ideal candidate is a member of the Chambre des notaires du Québec with a strong background in real estate law.

Requirements

  • Member of the Chambre des notaires du Québec
  • Law degree and specialized training in notarial law
  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years of notarial experience in real estate law
  • Excellent command of spoken and written French and English
  • Organizational skills, time management, and prioritization abilities
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively

Responsibilities

  • Drafting commercial property sale agreements
  • Advising and informing clients on the legal aspects of real estate transactions
  • Processing real estate guarantees
  • Conducting property title searches
  • Drafting asset sale agreements
  • Drafting special agreements and contracts related to real estate transactions
  • Drafting and revising documentation related to the acquisition or sale of properties and financing with real estate guarantees
