Non-CDL Driver + Safe Driver Incentive
About The Position
Ferguson is hiring a Non-CDL Driver to deliver materials to customers, support warehouse operations, and help ensure safe, reliable service. The schedule is 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with overtime as needed. The role offers daily home time and no nights or weekends. The position is eligible for a safe-driver incentive and other bonus potential. The driver will assist with loading and unloading deliveries, pick up customer returns, inspect and fuel the truck, and follow company and DOT safety requirements. The role also supports warehouse tasks such as preparing orders and receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking materials. Candidates must meet the stated age, driver’s license, DOT medical-card, lifting, and technology requirements. Pre-employment drug and background screening are required.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
- Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT medical card to meet driver requirements.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.
- Must complete pre-employment drug and background screening.

- Background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Deliver materials to customers, assisting with loading and unloading and ensuring the delivery ticket accompanies the material.
- Pick up customer returns and validate product matches for credit requests.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report problems or issues to a supervisor.
- Follow and implement company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment and with receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming materials.
- Work overtime as needed.
- Follow safety regulations and use required personal protective equipment, including a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
