About The Position

Ferguson is hiring a Non-CDL Driver to deliver materials to customers and support warehouse operations. The role includes helping load and unload deliveries, ensuring delivery tickets accompany the materials, picking up customer returns, and checking products against credit requests. Drivers also conduct daily vehicle inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report issues to a supervisor. When needed, the driver assists warehouse personnel with preparing orders and handling incoming materials. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with overtime as needed. The position requires a valid driver's license, compliance with DOT standards and regulations, and a valid DOT Medical card. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds. Pre-employment drug and background screening is required.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must follow all DOT standards and regulations.
Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card to meet driver requirements.
Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Ability to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.
Pre-employment drug and background screening is required.

Responsibilities

Deliver materials to customers, assisting with loading and unloading and ensuring the delivery ticket accompanies the materials.
Pick up customer returns and validate product matches for credit requests.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report problems or issues to a supervisor.
Follow and implement company safety policies and procedures.
Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed.
Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials.
Work overtime as needed.
Follow safety regulations, including correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 pounds.
