About The Position

Ferguson is hiring a Non-CDL Driver to deliver materials to customers and support warehouse operations. The role includes helping load and unload deliveries, confirming materials against delivery tickets, collecting customer returns, and conducting daily truck inspections. Drivers follow company safety policies and DOT standards, and may assist with preparing, receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking warehouse orders. The schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 6 a.m. and ending when work is finished, approximately 2–3 p.m. The posting describes the role as home daily, with no nights or weekends. Overtime may be needed. The position offers hourly compensation of $15.61–$23.41 and is eligible for a bonus or incentive plan, including a Safe Driver incentive and potential hourly bonuses. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card to meet driver requirements.
Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Ability to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.
Must wear a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 pounds.
Pre-employment drug and background screening is required.

Background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, and delivery.

Responsibilities

Deliver materials to customers, assist with loading and unloading, and ensure the delivery ticket accompanies the material.
Pick up customer returns and validate that the products match credit requests.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report problems or issues to a supervisor.
Follow and implement company safety policies and procedures.
Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed.
Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material.
Work overtime as needed.
Follow safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
