About The Position

Ferguson is hiring a Non-CDL Driver to deliver materials to customers and support warehouse operations. The role includes loading and unloading deliveries, confirming delivery tickets and materials, picking up customer returns, and helping prepare, receive, verify, stage, and stock orders. Drivers perform daily vehicle inspections, fuel the truck as needed, report issues, and follow company and DOT safety requirements, including using required personal protective equipment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. or until deliveries are complete, with overtime as needed. The position offers a safe-driver incentive and is eligible for a bonus or incentive plan. Pre-employment drug and background screening is required.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card to meet driver requirements.
Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Ability to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.
Successful completion of pre-employment drug and background screening.

Background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, and delivery.

Responsibilities

Deliver materials to customers, assisting with loading and unloading and ensuring the delivery ticket accompanies the material.
Pick up customer returns and validate that products match credit requests.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report problems or issues to a supervisor.
Follow and implement company safety policies and procedures.
Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment and with receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming material.
Work overtime as needed.
Adhere to safety regulations, including correct use of personal protective equipment; wear a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
