About The Position

Ferguson is hiring a Non-CDL Driver to deliver materials to customers and support warehouse operations. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with overtime as needed. The role offers daily home time and no scheduled nights or weekends. Drivers assist with loading and unloading, provide delivery tickets, pick up customer returns, and complete vehicle inspections. They also help prepare orders and handle incoming materials as needed, while following company and DOT safety requirements.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must follow all DOT standards and regulations.
Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card to meet driver requirements.
Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Ability to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.
Must complete pre-employment drug and background screening.

Nice To Haves

Background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, and delivery.

Responsibilities

Deliver materials to customers, assisting with loading and unloading and ensuring the delivery ticket accompanies the materials.
Pick up customer returns and validate that products match credit requests.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report problems or issues to a supervisor.
Follow and implement company safety policies and procedures.
Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment and with receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming materials as needed.
Work overtime as needed.
Follow safety regulations, including correct use of personal protective equipment.
