About The Position

The Night Guest Laundry Attendant demonstrates a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests and associates. The role assists guests overnight, including checking guests in and out and collecting payment, while completing laundry and dishwashing duties, answering phones, and maintaining safety and security in accordance with company guidelines and standards. The attendant also supports breakfast setup, property cleanliness, supply stocking, and other hotel operations as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to understand and communicate proficiently in English to interact with guests and associates.
Ability to operate property management system technology, work through shift reports, and perform the audit function when necessary and assigned.
Ability to understand and follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to complete routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply good judgment and manage and resolve guest-related problems.
Ability to frequently lift or move laundry and dishes weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally push or pull carts weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to travel to additional locations within a reasonable geographic area when asked.

Responsibilities

Provide the best possible experience for guests and associates.
Assist guests overnight, including checking them in and out and collecting payment according to company procedures.
Process laundry, including treating stains and washing, drying, and folding linens, terry, blankets, coverlets, and shower curtains.
Wash, dry, and package dishware according to company standards.
Stock housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry rooms with appropriate products and maintain PAR levels throughout the building.
Process reservations, registrations, payments, and departures according to company procedures.
Set up and maintain the grab-and-go breakfast according to brand standards.
Conduct periodic property tours to inspect cleanliness, collect trash, and identify maintenance needs.
Follow company policies and procedures, including promptly reporting safety and security issues, handling cash, and controlling keys.
Clean assigned hotel areas, which may include the front desk, associate breakroom, guest laundry, fitness room, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
Maintain overall hotel cleanliness.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
