About The Position

The Night Auditor is responsible for attending to guests’ needs, balancing the revenue and expense transactions that occurred during the day, and performing all front desk functions during the audit shift. The role requires good communication and guest service skills, along with the ability to take appropriate action to meet and exceed guest expectations. The position is at Toftrees Golf Resort in State College, Pennsylvania.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least one year of customer service experience.
• Ability to communicate satisfactorily with guests, management, and co-workers so they understand.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for the clientele.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hotel experience.
• Computer experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Attend to guests’ needs and handle guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Balance revenue and expense transactions that occurred during the day.
• Perform front desk functions during the audit shift.
• Process guest check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements.
• Follow payment, cash-handling, and credit policies and procedures.
• Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments and personnel.
• Work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and overnight hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
