About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a service-oriented Night Auditor to support overnight hotel operations at Courtyard Madison West/Middleton. The role combines auditing and accounting duties with front desk service, guest support, cash handling, and monitoring hotel security and lobby conditions. The Night Auditor helps prepare the Front Desk for the morning shift and may perform other duties as assigned. The position requires working nights and may also require weekends and holidays as needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in an Accounting or Night Auditor role.
• Knowledge of a property management system (PMS).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to multitask.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Team-player mindset.
• Ability to exceed guest expectations.
• Basic accounting and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit the daily guest ledger.
• Handle end-of-day accounting functions, including posting daily room rates and room tax.
• Ensure the accuracy of charges on guest folios.
• Calculate the sum of revenues from accounts receivable for food, rooms, and other departments.
• Perform front desk duties, including checking guests in and out, booking reservations, and resolving guest issues.
• Make cash drops in accordance with cash-handling procedures.
• Organize the Front Desk area so the morning staff can prepare for their shift.
• Monitor the hotel security camera system.
• Ensure the lobby is well-maintained and properly lit, with music at an appropriate volume.
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
