About The Position
The Night Auditor works the overnight shift from 11 PM to 7 AM at Courtyard Reno Downtown. This role welcomes guests, handles check-ins and reservations, responds to late-night questions, completes the night audit and balances transactions, conducts security walks, prepares daily reports including the Daily Flash Report, and coordinates with other departments to support smooth hotel operations and quality service. The position requires comfort using Windows, spreadsheets, and word-processing documents, as well as the ability to solve problems independently.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of experience in a hotel or related field.
- Ability to use Windows, spreadsheets, and word-processing documents.
- Ability to solve problems independently.

Responsibilities
- Greet guests during the overnight shift and handle check-ins, reservations, and late-night questions.
- Complete the night audit, balance books, and finalize transactions.
- Conduct regular security walks to help keep the property safe.
- Prepare daily reports, including the Daily Flash Report, for management.
- Coordinate with other departments to support smooth operations and service.
