About The Position

The Night Auditor works the overnight shift from 11 PM to 7 AM, welcoming guests and handling check-ins, reservations, and late-night inquiries. The role performs the night audit, balances accounts, finalizes transactions, and prepares daily reports, including the Daily Flash Report. It also includes conducting security walks and coordinating with other departments to support smooth hotel operations and high-quality guest service. The position requires comfort using Windows, spreadsheets, and word-processing documents, along with the ability to solve problems independently. The role is at Staybridge Suites Memphis Poplar East, a hotel in the East Memphis business district. The property offers apartment-style suites, daily hot breakfast, an evening social Tuesday through Thursday, a 24-hour Pantry, a fitness center, and a seasonal outdoor pool.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of experience in a hotel or related field.
Ability to work the overnight shift from 11 PM to 7 AM.
Proficiency with Windows, spreadsheets, and word-processing documents.
Ability to solve problems independently.

Nice To Haves

College coursework is beneficial.
Supervisory experience is a plus.
