Weekend Night Auditor

About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Weekend Night Auditor to ensure revenue is posted to the correct departments and that all departments’ revenue is balanced daily. The schedule is 11:00 PM–7:00 AM EST on Saturday and Sunday. The role performs audit procedures, balances cash receipts and work completed during the audit shift, and supports accurate financial reporting while contributing to a hands-on, team-oriented guest-service environment.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of accounting or finance.
Ability to understand and use mathematical concepts.
Ability to interpret technical information.
Ability to solve math problems quickly and accurately.
Team-oriented approach and enjoyment of a hands-on environment.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to balance multiple responsibilities and tasks.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting financial information.

Responsibilities

Provide, distribute, and process required audit reports and perform audit procedures as set forth by the Director of Finance.
Verify the status of all wake-up calls and ensure they are properly handled.
Balance all cash receipts and work performed during the audit shift.
Make deposits of cash.
Attend and actively participate in training and cross-training programs.
Keep the supervisor informed of unusual events and deviations from policies.
Maximize productivity, identify problem areas, and assist in finding and implementing solutions.
Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
