About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Weekend Night Auditor to ensure revenue is posted to the correct departments and to balance all departments’ revenue daily. The schedule is 11:00 PM–7:00 AM EST on Saturday and Sunday. The role performs audit and cash-handling duties, verifies wake-up calls, and supports the resort’s guest-service and team-focused culture.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of accounting or finance.
• Ability to understand and use math concepts.
• Ability to interpret technical information.
• Ability to solve math problems quickly and accurately.
• Team-oriented and comfortable in a hands-on environment.
• Detail-oriented and able to balance multiple responsibilities and tasks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting financial information.

Responsibilities

• Provide, distribute, and process required audit reports and perform audit procedures as set forth by the Director of Finance.
• Verify the status of all wake-up calls and ensure they are properly handled.
• Balance cash receipts and work performed during the audit shift.
• Make cash deposits.
• Attend and actively participate in training and cross-training programs.
• Keep the supervisor informed of unusual events or deviations from policies.
• Maximize productivity, identify problem areas, and assist in finding and implementing solutions.
• Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
