About The Position

The Night Auditor performs all Guest Service Agent duties and functions and completes the nightly audit according to hotel procedures. The role prepares daily revenue, room revenue, and room status reports; investigates out-of-balance situations; makes adjustments or corrections to accounts; and prints and distributes required computer audit reports. It also supports guest and property security by controlling room keys, verifying cash banks, making safe drops, preparing cash reports, following credit card verification procedures, and complying with security and safety regulations. The position requires knowledge of hotel fire and safety procedures and the ability to remain at the assigned post for extended periods, including paid lunch periods.

Requirements

Clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests, visitors, management, and co-workers, in person and by telephone.
Produce legible written communications and provide clear directions.
Complete accurate mathematical calculations.
Promote positive relations with individuals who approach the Front Desk or make contact by phone.
Work well under pressure during periods of excessive arrivals and departures.
Remain stationary at the assigned post for extended periods, including paid lunch periods.
Previous guest relations training.
