About The Position

SpringHill Suites by Marriott Troy Dayton is seeking a Night Auditor to join its team. The position is described as a front desk role focused on welcoming guests, supporting their stay, and completing night audit duties. The Night Auditor works the third shift, from 11 PM to 7 AM, and is offered part-time. The listed pay is $13–$15 per hour.

Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
• Basic to moderate computer proficiency, including email and internet navigation.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and select holidays.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliably punctual.

Nice To Haves

• Prior hotel front desk or customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with a property management system such as IHG, HotelKey, Hilton, or PEP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and check in arriving guests, providing a friendly first impression.
• Manage guest reservations, modifications, and cancellations using the property management system (PMS).
• Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries professionally and warmly.
• Promote and enroll guests in hotel rewards programs.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and creatively, escalating to management when appropriate.
• Balance daily accounts and perform end-of-shift financial reconciliation.
• Assist the sales and revenue team with special requests, group blocks, and upselling opportunities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area.
• Run the Night Audit Program and set the day up for success.
• Begin preparing breakfast before the Breakfast Attendant arrives.
