About The Position

Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn, a member of Genesis Hospitality, is seeking an experienced, team-oriented candidate for a full-time Night Audit position. The role calls for a genuine interest in hospitality and requires working weeknight, weekend-night, and/or holiday-night shifts. The position involves guest service and communication, reservations, event support, reporting, and maintaining the restaurant area and morning coffee setup. Additional duties may be assigned by the Hotel Manager.

Requirements

Experience in a similar role is sought; the candidate must be experienced.
Team-oriented approach.
Genuine interest in hospitality.
Willingness to work weeknight, weekend-night, and/or holiday-night shifts.
Ability to perform the described physical duties, including lifting weights up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Communicate with booking, housekeeping, and maintenance departments to ensure prompt responses to guests’ needs.
Make reservations or appointments for guests seeking local entertainment or services.
Answer guest calls and record conversation details for future follow-up.
Anticipate guests’ needs, suggest local venues, and work to meet or exceed guest expectations.
Maintain communication with guests in advance of weddings, corporate retreats, and other in-house events to help ensure preparations are complete.
Report accidents or injuries to senior management immediately.
Take reservations, answer inquiries, communicate leads to the Event Coordinator, host the restaurant, and complete reporting and other duties assigned by the Hotel Manager.
Arrange the coffee table and accompaniments for morning guests.
Keep the restaurant area tidy and presentable for guests.
