About The Position

True North Hotel Group is seeking a Front Desk Associate/Night Auditor for the TownePlace Suites in Hays, Kansas. The associate serves as the main point of contact for guest requests and needs during the overnight hours of 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., providing front desk, guest assistance, and clerical support.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; listed as preferred.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Hospitality experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for guest requests and needs from 11:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.
• Greet guests and check them into the hotel, issue room keys, and direct guests to rooms and other areas.
• Respond to guest questions in person or over the phone.
• Fulfill guest needs and assist with dining, entertainment, and transportation reservations as needed.
• Resolve guest problems and complaints.
• Perform clerical duties, including answering calls, taking messages, entering reservations, filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing.
