About The Position
True North Hotel Group is seeking a Front Desk Associate/Night Auditor for the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Marlborough, Massachusetts. The role serves as the main point of contact for guest requests and needs from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. It includes welcoming and checking in guests, responding to questions, helping guests with reservations and other needs, resolving complaints, and performing clerical tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; preferred.
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in hospitality is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for guest requests and needs from 11:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.
- Greet and check in guests, issue room keys, and direct guests to rooms and other areas.
- Respond to guest questions in person and over the phone.
- Assist with guests’ needs, including dining, entertainment, and transportation reservations as needed.
- Resolve guest problems and complaints.
- Perform clerical duties, including answering phone calls, taking messages, entering reservations, filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing.
