Next Steps Coordinator at Community Fellowship Church

U.S. Church Ministries•Lancaster, PA

About The Position

The Next Steps Coordinator helps create a welcoming, connected, and well-supported experience for people across Community Fellowship Church’s two locations. The role leads Frontline Ministry (greeters and ushers), Café Ministry, and Integration Events, helping people move from being first-time guests toward deeper connection and involvement at CFC. The Coordinator provides leadership, direction, and support by recruiting, equipping, and developing volunteers, strengthening ministry systems, and ensuring that guests and congregants have clear and meaningful opportunities to take their next step. The part-time position (24 hours per week) focuses on leadership and coordination of Next Steps, Frontline, Café, Parking, and Integration Ministries. The full-time position (40 hours per week) adds capacity for ministry leadership and volunteer development while supporting CFC’s financial, HR, and operational systems. In the full-time role, approximately 28 hours are dedicated to Next Steps and ministry leadership, and 12 hours to operations and administrative responsibilities. The role requires a flexible schedule that includes office hours, regular weekend involvement, and occasional daytime or evening church events and classes. The Coordinator is expected to utilize and develop volunteers rather than personally carrying every ministry responsibility.
