About The Position

Responsible for leading sales strategy, growth initiatives, and customer engagement for assigned OEM and Distributor National Accounts. The individual directs and coordinates sales activities, builds strong relationships with OEM and Distributor customers, and drives growth across key accounts. Experience within golf car, power sport, automotive parts or engineered components is strongly preferred.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with National Accounts required
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such, discounts, interest, commission and percentages
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists
  • Working knowledge of database software, order processing systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with CRM
  • Travel required

Nice To Haves

  • Background in golf car, power sports, automotive or engineered components preferred
  • Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans, operating budget, financial and product analysis, and sales forecast/projections to achieve company objectives.
  • Track policy deployment goals and prepares root cause analysis.
  • Travel to meet with clients, maintains relationships, negotiate programs, prepares and delivers sales presentations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
  • Partner with Sourcing, Engineering & Program Management on product research and developing custom solutions.
  • Prepare and analyze sales reports to prepare for strategic account reviews.
  • Plan and implement strategic account business reviews.
  • Field questions and resolves issues from customers.
  • Travel to trade association meetings, trade shows, customer open houses and other meetings assigned.
  • Responsible for following all safety standards and working safely and health consciously at all times.
  • Prepare quotes for customers, calculates quarterly and annual rebates if needed.
  • Develop and expand relationships within OEM and distributor markets including golf car parts, accessories and plastics categories.
  • Other duties as assigned.
