AE058 - Full-Time Nanny (Live-In or Live-Out) - Manhattan, NY

British American Household Staffing•New York, NY
•$35 - $45•Onsite

About The Position

A young family in the Gramercy Park area of Manhattan is seeking an energetic, experienced nanny to care primarily for their infant son. The position may be live-in or live-out for a local candidate. The family is looking for someone nurturing, engaged, flexible, proactive, and interested in becoming a lasting part of the family as the child grows. A full-time household assistant and housekeepers are already in place. The preferred start is after the holidays, with January preferred; the start date is flexible for the right candidate. The family may offer a deposit to secure the candidate and expects an overlap with the current baby nurses, who are on a 24/7 rotation and are expected to transition out after approximately three months. The schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., for 40 hours per week, with additional hours as needed. The family spends summers at its Long Island home and travels throughout the year, so the nanny must be willing to travel with them. Compensation is $35–$45+ per hour, depending on experience. Full benefits are offered. Private live-in accommodations are available if desired, and accommodations are covered during family travel. Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate, including transportation, flights, and moving expenses. This is a long-term opportunity.
