About The Position

First-time parents based in Brooklyn are seeking an experienced rotational nanny to care for their 10-month-old daughter, working opposite the family’s existing ROTA nanny. The parents co-parent between two residences within a 10-minute walk of each other. The nanny will provide care in both households and maintain consistency in the child’s routines, developmental approach, and overall care. The position follows a two-weeks-on/two-weeks-off rotation. It is primarily live-out while the family is in Brooklyn, with overnight/live-in coverage as required during scheduled rotations. The nanny must be comfortable with 24/7 responsibility as needed, travel with the family, and occasional schedule adjustments. Candidates must currently be local to Brooklyn. The nanny will collaborate with the other ROTA nanny to ensure seamless handovers and continuity of care. The family seeks a calm, engaging, and nurturing caregiver who will support the child’s development, provide age-appropriate stimulation and interaction, and encourage healthy routines and independence. The role includes managing feeding, sleep, and daily schedules; preparing nutritious meals and bottles; maintaining child-related spaces and supplies; supporting developmental transitions; and preparing for domestic and international travel. The compensation is $120,000–$140,000+ annually, depending on experience. Benefits include PTO aligned with the rotational schedule, a health stipend or healthcare support, private accommodations when overnight/live-in coverage is required, and coverage of work-related travel expenses. Additional benefits will be discussed.
