AC253 - ROTA Nanny - Atherton, CA

British American Household Staffing•, CA
•$175,000•Onsite

About The Position

A loving family in Atherton, California, is seeking a rotational nanny to care for their three-year-old toddler and, eventually, their six-month-old baby. The nannies work on a 14-day rotation, with flexibility required for longer travel during holidays and summer. Travel plans may change at short notice, so the nanny should be adaptable. The role is live-out while on duty until at least April 2027, then is expected to become live-in during the shift when the NCS leaves. During the live-out period, the general schedule is 6:00/6:30 a.m. to 7:00/7:30 p.m. The family is seeking a career nanny who can provide developmentally appropriate and educational activities. Local candidates are preferred, though the family may fly in and out the right candidate. Local accommodations during live-out shifts will be provided for out-of-town candidates. The role includes full-charge childcare, transportation to activities and school, coordinating schedules and travel, light meal preparation, keeping the children's spaces organized, child-related laundry, travel preparation, and collaboration with the co-nanny and NCS. The nanny will travel domestically and internationally with the family and use apps such as Asana and Baby Connect. The family offers competitive compensation starting at $175,000+, depending on ROTA experience, as well as medical, dental, and vision coverage (100% covered for the nanny and 50% for dependents). Fly-in/fly-out arrangements will be considered when determining total compensation.
