About The Position

A private mother in Lake Oswego, Oregon, is seeking an experienced, caring, and proactive ROTA Nanny to care for her 4-year-old son. He attends preschool Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.; the role therefore focuses primarily on afternoon and evening care, meal preparation, activity planning, and maintaining a consistent daily routine. The nanny will support the child’s emotional regulation with a patient, calm, and understanding approach, and help provide the consistency, structure, and positive environment needed to build a strong, long-term relationship. This is a full-time, two-weeks-on, two-weeks-off rotation, with 24/7 on-call availability while on rotation. The nanny will stay in the family’s private pool house during working rotations. Sundays are usually spent with the grandparents, and the child typically sleeps over; this is generally the nanny’s day to herself, though the nanny must remain on call in case something comes up. The role includes occasional domestic and international travel with the family, primarily during school breaks. An ASAP start is requested.
