About The Position

Jovie is seeking an energetic, attentive, patient, and playful part-time nanny to care for a Chesterfield family's one-year-old child. The family wants a caregiver who is passionate about working with babies, brings a pleasant and positive demeanor to the home, follows instructions reliably, and incorporates creativity into daily activities. A safe driving history is required. The schedule is Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. and Thursdays from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a year-long commitment. The listed pay is $16.00 per hour, and the start date is December 29, 2026.

Jovie provides caregivers with training, resources, and support to develop childcare skills and confidence. Duties include engaging the child in play, maintaining a safe environment, preparing snacks, encouraging clean-up, and building trusting relationships with the child and parents.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Be willing to transport children as part of the duties.
• Pass a mandatory background check.
• Have a safe driving history.
• Be patient and playful, with a genuine passion for working with babies.
• Have excellent attention to detail and reliably follow the family's instructions.
