Part Time Nanny – Jacksonville, FL
About The Position
A family in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking an experienced and compassionate nanny to care for their 2-year-old twin boys. The role involves morning care, educational activities, and support with the children’s daily routines. The family’s home is smoke-free, includes one 45-pound Norwegian Elkhound mix dog, and both parents work from home. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM EST, for 25 hours per week, starting in November 2026. Compensation is $25–$30 per hour. Candidates will be subject to a background check and must provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. The family is an equal opportunity employer.
Requirements
- Prior nanny or childcare experience.
- Hands-on experience with Montessori methods or principles.
- Ability to commute reliably.
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and an engaging presence.
- Pass a background check.
- Provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience caring for twins or multiples.
- CPR/First Aid certification; the family is open to providing training if needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide general care and supervision for twin toddlers.
- Implement hands-on Montessori-style educational activities, arts and crafts, and developmental play.
- Plan meals, prepare food, and feed the children.
- Perform light housekeeping directly related to the children, including cleaning up after meals and activities and doing the children’s laundry.
- Assist with diaper changes and/or potty training.
