Hallmark is hiring a part-time Merchandiser to service Hallmark departments in assigned retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. The role works independently to organize and manage time, build relationships with retailers, and represent Hallmark. Merchandisers collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and inventory, and may support colleagues with seasonal resets and installations. They may occasionally work with other companies’ products in the stores they service. The job has three main components: day-to-day merchandising, seasonal holiday support, and department resets. Day-to-day work includes restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark products and displays, using a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work tasks and communication. Seasonal demand may bring additional workdays and extended hours around major holidays. Reset assignments can involve building or installing fixtures, relocating departments or products, and resetting card sections; remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance. Merchandisers are part of a field network and may support colleagues in other territories. This is a physically demanding position involving work on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms. Employees must regularly handle merchandise and fixtures and may need to kneel, squat, walk, stand, and climb stairs or step ladders. The role pays $15.00–$17.00 per hour depending on skills and experience and includes paid training. Part-time employees may access voluntary benefits, and eligible employees receive annual pay increases. The schedule is variable during the work week, averaging 6–8 hours weekly, with availability needed around holidays and for seasonal support and installations.
