Part Time Nanny – Concord, MA
About The Position
A welcoming family in Concord, Massachusetts, is seeking an organized, active, and experienced part-time nanny to care for two school-aged children, ages 9 and 7. One or both parents often work from home in dedicated spaces. The smoke-free home has a large, friendly Labrador Retriever, and the nanny must be comfortable managing a large dog. The schedule is Monday through Friday: 3:30 PM–6:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and 12:30 PM–6:00 PM on Wednesday, for a total of 15.5 hours per week. There may be an opportunity to add hours to assist with household needs. Compensation is $25–$30 per hour, with gas reimbursement for use of the caregiver’s vehicle. Candidates are subject to a background check and must provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. The family is an equal opportunity employer.
Requirements
- Proven nanny experience working with school-aged children.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and clean driving record for transportation tasks.
- Comfortable and confident managing a large, friendly dog.
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Subject to a background check.
Responsibilities
- Transport children to and from after-school activities.
- Arrange playdates and lead local outings.
- Facilitate arts and crafts and guide educational activities.
- Support the children’s interests in reading, sports, and crafts.
- Prepare after-school snacks and snacks for the next school day.
- Assist with the children’s laundry and light housekeeping.
