Full Time / Part Time Nanny
About The Position
Jovie is hiring on-call backup nannies to provide in-home childcare for multiple families on a flexible schedule. Nannies care for children from infancy through toddlerhood, with the greatest demand for care for children under age 2. The role does not require transporting children or performing household duties beyond reasonable cleanup of activities or meals with the child. Caregivers keep children safe and lead hands-on activities informed by their observations of each child’s age-appropriate development. The schedule requires availability on at least three weekdays for 6–8-hour shifts scheduled between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. The position may offer opportunities to be placed with a family seeking a consistent full- or part-time nanny.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have experience working with children, paid or unpaid; infant experience is mandatory.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Be willing and able to travel to various homes throughout the area.
- Be available at least three weekdays for 6–8-hour shifts between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
- Be communicative and responsive to the staffing supervisor.
