A full-time, live-out nanny is sought for a warm Williamsburg family with two young boys, a toddler and an infant. The role is expected to start in January or February 2027, and no later than early 2027. The nanny will work alongside the mother, who is at home, generally caring for one child at a time. Specific duties will be negotiated with the family. The position calls for a warm, patient, calm, communicative caregiver who can adapt to changing days, collaborate with the mother, and use consistent, gentle boundaries. The family values dialogue over direct discipline, and the toddler may need time to warm up to a new caregiver, so consistency and a long-term commitment are important. The nanny will provide nurturing, age-appropriate care and plan balanced days with developmental activities at home and in the backyard, as well as park outings, classes, and playdates. Child-related duties include simple meal preparation and cleanup, the children’s laundry, toy and closet rotations, and preschool drop-off and pick-up beginning in September 2027. The family lives in a four-story townhouse with a backyard in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, near two parks. The family spends one to two weeks in the Hamptons in summer and time in Miami in winter; some flexibility for travel is desired, though grandparents may assist. The schedule is guaranteed 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, ideally 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Flexibility for occasional later evenings and bedtime with advance notice is a plus. The family is open to part-time hours during 2026 or a signing bonus to secure a preferred candidate before the later start date. Compensation is $35–$40 per hour, plus an unlimited monthly OMNY card, a healthcare stipend if applicable, sick/personal days, vacation, and public holidays, depending on experience.
