Bilingual Full Time Nanny
About The Position
A sweet family in Clearwater, Florida, is seeking a caring, patient, and dependable full-time daytime nanny to provide loving care for their 2-month-old baby boy. The nanny will provide attentive, one-on-one infant care and support the child’s safety, comfort, development, and daily routine. The family would like the nanny to speak both English and Spanish with their son and incorporate Spanish into everyday interactions. Both parents work from home, so the nanny must be comfortable caring for the baby while parents are present and feel comfortable respecting the family’s Christian values. This is described as a long-term opportunity with a one-year commitment. Applicants must first interview with a Jovie specialist; qualifying applicants will meet the family before hiring. The job is not visa eligible.
Requirements
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Infant care experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Caring, patient, dependable, and nurturing approach.
- Comfortable providing care while parents work from home and are present.
- Comfortable respecting the family’s Christian values.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, one-on-one care for a 2-month-old baby throughout the day.
- Bottle-feed the baby and change diapers.
- Support the baby’s naps and daily routine.
- Provide tummy time, reading, age-appropriate play, and outdoor time in the family’s backyard.
- Incorporate activities that encourage early learning, language development, and growth.
- Speak English and Spanish with the baby and incorporate Spanish into everyday interactions.
- Keep the baby’s toys and shared living spaces neat and tidy.
