About The Position

A full-time nanny is sought to provide attentive childcare in a private family home in Edmond/Arcadia, Oklahoma, with occasional family travel. The ideal candidate is caring, dependable, patient, organized, and comfortable accompanying the family on trips. A Registered Behavioral Therapist is preferred.

The nanny will support children’s daily routines, development, behavior, and practical needs at home and while traveling. The regular schedule, travel expectations, and compensation for travel will be discussed during the interview process. Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Previous professional nanny or childcare experience.
• Experience supporting children’s behavioral and emotional development.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Availability for a full-time schedule and occasional travel, including overnight stays.
• Strong professional references and willingness to complete a background check.
• A patient, dependable, and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, attentive childcare at home and while traveling.
• Maintain consistent routines for meals, naps, learning, and play.
• Plan age-appropriate activities that support emotional, social, and educational development.
• Use positive reinforcement and parent-approved strategies to support behavior.
• Assist with meals, dressing, hygiene, and other daily needs.
• Transport children to activities and appointments as needed.
• Handle child-related laundry and keep children’s spaces organized.
• Assist with packing and maintaining children’s routines during family trips.
• Communicate regularly with parents and maintain family confidentiality.
