About The Position
Jovie is hiring experienced, engaging caregivers to provide in-home care for infants and toddlers with local families throughout Irvine, California. This role offers full-time or part-time work with daytime hours, flexible scheduling, supportive leadership, and opportunities for growth. Assignments vary based on family needs, caregiver availability, and scheduling preferences. Most assignments involve infants and toddlers, though opportunities may occasionally include older children. Caregivers receive orientation and training and are matched with families based on their experience and availability. Pay is $20–$22.25 per hour, plus overtime pay, and pay dates are every two weeks.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of infant childcare experience; experience may come from nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, church nursery, or other childcare settings, but not from working with family and friends.
- Love working with infants.
- Be dependable and professional.
- Communicate well with parents and children.
- Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Provide at least two references related to childcare work and one character reference.
- Be at least 18 years old.
