About The Position
Hebrew Home at Riverdale, a senior retirement community in Riverdale, New York, is seeking musicians to provide live entertainment for residents. Musicians should be proficient in one or more instruments, such as piano, violin, or guitar, and enjoy creating engaging and memorable experiences through music. Part-time and on-call opportunities are available, with flexible scheduling potentially offered based on availability. On-call musicians may provide coverage as needed and are welcome to share availability throughout the week, including weekends. Requirements
- Proficiency in one or more musical instruments and the ability to perform live for an audience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a warm, engaging presence.
- Ability to adapt music selections to meet residents’ preferences and abilities.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
- Availability to perform during weekdays, with occasional weekend availability.
