About The Position

This position primarily assists the Marketing Events & Entertainment department with fan interaction areas throughout the ballpark. The role also supports a variety of marketing events, special events, and non-game-day events. The schedule requires availability on nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills.
• Energetic and motivated, with comfort interacting with large crowds.
• Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
• Ability to interact and work effectively with children.
• Employment is dependent upon completion and clearance of child abuse clearance, FBI fingerprinting, and a background check.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Strong verbal and communication skills.
• Ability to work a minimum of 40 home games and one weekend day per homestand.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as some non-game-day special events.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of up to six hours per shift.
• Ability to work in positions including stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods.
• Ability and willingness to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety at The Yard, including its fan attractions: the hot dog launcher, climbing wall, Phan Field, and The Bullpen.
• Interact with fans at ballpark attractions to promote a positive fan experience.
• Assist the Events Department with promotional events as needed.
• Assist with sponsor and marketing activations as needed.
• Staff Phillies kiosks during Phillies home games.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
